WHAT THE HALL HAS TO OFFER
The Memorial Hall consists of:
A main Hall,
Kitchen,
Small committee room,
Toilets, including facilities for disabled people.
Wi-Fi with BT Business high speed broadband capable of streaming videos and music.
The main hall is approximately 11m by 6m and can accommodate 80 people sitting down or 100 people standing. The Hall has central heating controlled remotely.
It has wrap around sound, a 3m screen with projector capable of showing Blue ray DVD’s, Freeview T.V (HD) and images from Laptops etc. The floor is wooden which is ideal for dancing and a stage can be provided. It has window blinds, which we will be upgrading to full black out curtains in the near future. The lighting has recently been updated and now offers a variety of choices from dimmable wall lights, coloured pelmet lighting and central lighting for more formal activities.
The Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric double oven, grill, warming ovens, with a five ring hob. There is an Industrial dish washer, microwave, hot water urn, kettles, toasters and an integral fridge.
There is plenty of crockery and cutlery available.
The small committee room
There is a small committee room that can seat 12 people for smaller meetings. This can be used as a second room when hiring the main hall for serving food etc.
The Hall is fully licenced for entertainment, including the selling of alcohol, playing of live and/or recorded music, and dance.
In addition, there is a table tennis table (please bring your own bat and ping pong ball) and Carpet bowls that can be used in the main hall.
